Maude and I would like to wish you and your loved ones a blessed and very Merry Christmas!
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manager. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, an on earth peace to those on who his favor rests.”
Luke 2:11-14
Breaking News: Another 240,000 + Illegals Cross Southern Border Last Month
Like the Grinch who stole Christmas, Joe Biden was hoping no one would notice when he released new data over the weekend showing that 242,418 illegal aliens crossed the southern border last month. Since Biden took office, more than 10 million lawbreakers have crossed the border. Once processed and released, the illegal aliens are given a date to appear in court in 2035! Now they have been admitted into the county and given a court date, the illegals can stay in the United States while waiting a decade for their case to be heard.
You no doubt paid a lot more for your Christmas tree, too. According to the Christmas Tree Association, prices for trees are up 10% since last Christmas. The main reason for the high cost of your tree: Bidenflation caused by mindless government spending, now everything costs more.
Troubling, 31 percent of Americans are working extra hours to be able to afford Christmas and half of American are skipping holiday to save money. Oh, and that dinner with Cousin Eddie I mentioned earlier? The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates it will cost you 20 percent more for that holiday meal. If it tastes half as good as it costs, we’re all in for a real treat! Just remember, save the neck for me!
Colorado Supreme Court Goes Full Fascism
This week, the Colorado State Supreme Court, which is only one step below the Supreme Court of the United States, ruled in a 4-3 decision that President Trump is a traitor and cannot even be on the ballot in Colorado.
The majority opinion argues because Trump “organized an insurrection” the 14th Amendment of the Constitution disqualifies him from office. This is already a ridiculous and unproven notion as President Trump has not been charged or convicted of violating the 14thAmendment.
I am absolutely appalled by this ruling fit only for a third world despotic sham-state. No matter how much the left doesn’t like Trump, he is the leading oppositional candidate to the current administration. To ban him from even being on the ballot is to overthrow democracy.
Don’t just take my word for it. The three state Justices who dissented, who were all appointed by Democrat governors, agree this is not a decision which improves America’s democratic process and “flies in the face of the due process doctrine.” It’s true, we aren’t a pure democracy – we are a Constitutional Republic with a democratic process.
It should come as no surprise to faithful Gosar Newsletter readers that the lawsuit was funded by progressive democrat mega donor George Soros. He’s the same guy funding all the progressive District Attorneys and state-level politicians responsible for the record high crime destroying our cities including the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, who indicted President Trump earlier this year.
The left cannot applaud this as a win for democracy, because they just removed a democratic decision the people of Colorado can make. I fully expect this decision will backfire. I already have called for the Supreme Court to overturn this disastrous decision.
We have been told that every vote matters. We’ve been told we have the most freedom of any nation in the world. We are also told our elections are “perfect” yet we can all see the many problems and discrepancies that occur. By taking Trump off the ballot by pure judicial force, they leave the Trump supporters with no voice and no vote.
Years ago, those fighting to form this country made a deal. Instead of taking power with bullets, we would use ballots. Our Founders created a constitution and honored the Rule of Law. The rogue Marxist judges in Colorado are making a mockery of our Constitution and due process. They act like we didn’t see what took place on January 6, or hear Trump’s actual speech, or know about the FBI involvement in inciting the riot, or the dozens of people who arrived on a small bus and then put on Trump hats and T-shirts as they then went forward to cause mayhem. They act like the FBI did not already admit that it does not know exactly how many hundreds of agents and human sources they had at the riot instigating and provoking and committing crimes. They act like we haven’t already seen hours and hours of video footage, with people being invited in by the police, taking selfies and being peaceful and normal. They act like we haven’t seen the video footage of the police fist bumping an FBI informant who was rioting. They act like we don’t know that Trump called for the National Guard for assistance and the local Mayor rejected the call up. They act like we don’t know that Nancy Pelosi was warned days in advance that there was a potential for violence from agitators and provocateurs and she declined to pass this informationon the members of Congress or to law enforcement. They act like we don’t know that in spite of Trump’s request to “go peacefully” and to others to “go home” that many did not listen or did not care. They pretend Trump had complete control over every person there, including the ANTIFA members, the FBI agents, the informants, and the Capitol Police. He did not. Trump did not engage in an insurrection. Lastly, these judges ignorantly and maliciously pretend that an unarmed crowd could “take over the government” merely by walking into the Capitol. This is insulting to any thinking person. In short, these judges should be removed from office and charged with civil rights violations. They are interfering with our democratic process and fomenting violence.
When Counting Ballots Is a Crime, Only Criminals Will Count Ballots
Last month, the Mohave Board of Supervisors were considering whether to hand count the election ballots in the next election, as an effort to promote accuracy, transparency and avoid even a scintilla of electronic fraud. For reasons not clearly articulated, Kris Mayes, the democrat acting attorney general in Arizona flew into a rage and threatened to arrest, indict, charge and convict any Mohave County Supervisor who even thought about allowing a hand count in Mohave County.
Note: I will refer to Mayes as the acting AG until the 1,000 provisional votes from Maricopa County in November 2022 are counted. With less than 300 votes separating her from Abe Hamadeh, these votes should have been counted long ago to see who the real winner was. The courts have disagreed, and in the interest of giving finality to the election, denied Hamadeh’s request to review the 1,000 provisional and uncounted ballots. As noted in court, unsuccessfully, “[Hamadeh attorney] Wright speculated that because Election Day voters were overwhelmingly Republican, it’s likely that the majority of rejected provisional ballots would have been cast for Hamadeh by a large enough margin to change the outcome of the race in his favor. To prove those claims, Hamadeh’s attorneys requested a limited ballot inspection to make their case. “We assert by reason of erroneous vote counts, Kris Mayes, who was declared elected, did not in fact receive the highest number of votes for office of attorney general.”). The courts denied Hamadeh the right to inspect these 1,000 provisional ballots, so we will never know who really won the AG race. This is the long way of explaining that Mayes’ certification is factually iffy, so we shall refer to her always and forever as “acting AG” until she wins a real election.
Now back to the hand count issue. Mayes sent a threatening letter to the Board designed to intimidate them from conducting their official business and instructing them that election integrity and transparency would be met with prison and oppression.
Not surprisingly, the Board rejected the hand count proposal. With acting AG Mayes threatening to harm each of them, imprison them and bankrupt them with lawfare, they had no real choice but to cave to the censorship and oppression. For her part, acting AG Mayes said she was “relieved and commend the Mohave County Board of Supervisors for their [sic] decision not to authorize a hand count of all ballots for the 2024 election, upholding Arizona law. Previously, acting AG Mayes threatened Cochise County supervisors who also wanted a hand count in order to provide accuracy and transparency in their county elections. The court concluded that Arizona law does not allow a hand count. Of course, hand counts are not banned under the law. In reality, Arizona law discusses using electronic voting. That is not the same as banning hand counts.
In June 2023, “The Arizona House of Representatives … passed a Republican-backed bill that would allow hand count of ballots, but it will almost assuredly meet with Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs’ veto stamp.” And so it was.
We must ask why democrats are afraid of hand counts? We know that with hand counts, there would be many observers and many internal checks and balances. That is good. We also know that there could be no pagination “errors” of the type that occurred in November 2022 in Maricopa County impacting 17,000 votes. We know there could be no algorithmic programming error, and no way for third party unauthorized actors to hack into an election system if we used hand counts. So why would democrats fight so hard to prevent hand counts? I will let you answer that yourself.
The fact remains that many people, including elected supervisors, believe that hand counts will be more accurate and more transparent. They should be allowed to run their elections in a manner that is the most fair and transparent for their county.
Interns needed!
My Washington, D.C. office is seeking interns for the Spring 2024 season which runs from January to May. Capitol Hill internships are a tremendous opportunity for those who wish to build their resume while serving others. Candidates who are interested in government, are proficient in communication and writing, and hold at least a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
Interns maintain many responsibilities crucial to the operation of a congressional office including but not limited to conducting Capitol tours, logging constituent correspondence and answering phone calls. Interns may also conduct research, assemble legislative memos, attend meetings, draft correspondence to constituents, or contribute content for the ever-popular weekly newsletter.
The application for internships can be accessed by clicking HERE.

It’s Mail Time!
I receive thousands of letters each week and I appreciate hearing from everyone. Here are samples of some of the letters I received this week:
Reverend John K. from Prescott Valley opines:
Gosar needs to STOP FOLLOWING DONALD TRUMP – WHO LOVES PUTIN and vote for money for Ukraine! Trump is an anarchist and autocrat and doesn’t care about my (and your) country. We don’t need to fund the destruction of Arabs by Israel (Netanyahu) either. Israel wants to rule Palestine, no wonder the Palestinians are attacking those who want to take their freedom away! GET A HEART!
John, let me get this straight: Killing Russians with U.S. money and weapons is good? Killing Palestinians with U.S. money and weapons is bad? How about this idea: let’s use our money and our military to defend our borders, not Ukraine? Can we agree on that much?
Here’s the deal, John: we have no business being in Ukraine. We never have. Ukraine started this war with Russia. Ukrainian Nazi militias killed 14,000 Russians between 2014 and 2022 when the special military action started. You can support Nazis, but I will not and never will. Further, the U.S. guaranteed for 30 years that we would not ask or make Ukraine part of NATO. That was a red line for Russia, and we all knew it. Suddenly, under Biden, they want to make Ukraine part of NATO. NATO, which should be disbanded, or at least the U.S. withdrawn from it, is a Cold War relic and a foreign entanglement that will continue to cost U.S. money and lives. There is no upside in getting involved in European disputes.
Finally, we know now that Ukraine has been bribing the Bidens. Why would you, or anyone, want to spend hundreds of billions of our money to fulfill a bribery request?
Ukraine is losing this war. It has suffered severe casualties. The average age of a Ukrainian soldier is now in their 40’s. Russia has suffered as well. The bottom line remains the same: This is not our fight, and we should never have sent billions to an autocratic dictator who shut down religion, the press, and all opposition parties in Ukraine and openly parades with notorious Nazi’s and Nazi battalions.
I mention this to those like John—if you feel the urge, there is a foreign mercenary force in Ukraine. Put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is and sign up. Go to Ukraine. “Fight Putin.” Let us know how much you donate and how it goes in the trench warfare. As for the rest of us, we will use our tax money to help Americans.
Carol T. from Litchfield Park writes:
I really did not appreciate your so-called survey sent by text the other day which had a false choice to choose from. Hunter Biden has been dealing with the issues he created from his drug addiction and paid his back taxes and has his own court case to deal with. I would not even answer your question number 2 which was a choice set up to support your narrative of the situation. If you would just focus on your job instead of seeking to find public support for the impeachment process you all are trying to do I would be grateful. We have WAY more pressing issues than this topic.
Hello Carol. Most people like it when I ask their opinion on key issues before a vote. It is ok that you don’t. Surveys can be short because I have basically two choices in Congress. I can vote “yes” or I can vote “no.” There are ramifications with either choice. So, if my survey gives you two choices, it is often because those are the choices I get.
As for the relative importance of the impeachment inquiry I respectfully disagree. Nothing is more important than our public officials having integrity and not accepting bribes from foreign nations. There is substantial evidence that Biden has accepted bribe money from foreign countries including Ukraine (itself ranked as the most corrupt nation). This has to be investigated. We recently learned that Sen. Menendez, a democrat from New Jersey, was accepting bribes from Egypt. Public corruption is a serious issue, and the Bidens have been soliciting bribes and promising official actions in exchange for bribe money. Biden himself bragged, after receiving money from corrupt Ukrainians, that he got a corruption probe in Ukraine stopped by threatening to withhold billions of dollars Congress authorized. Our involvement in Ukraine is payback for a bribe. For the cost of millions of dollars in bribes, Biden has transferred over $110 billion in U.S. taxpayer assistance to Ukraine. This is public corruption, and it must be investigation.
Harold H. from San Tan Valley shares:
I continue to be alarmed by the massive, uncontrolled spending by our government. The resultant inflation is a concern for me and all Americans who must make ends meet.
The U.S. government ran a budget deficit of $381 billion so far into the 2023 fiscal year, which represents a 13% increase from this same period last year. The deficit is $44 billion higher than it was at the end of November 2022, according to the latest data released by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The national debt in January of 2020 was $17.2 trillion. By contrast, the national debt is currently $33.9 trillion.
Unlike the government, we are not allowed to print more money. I implore you to spend more wisely, reduce the size of government, and allow Americans to have more personal responsibility.
Harold, I could not agree more. I have voted against wasteful Continuing Resolutions that spend billions and billions with no reforms. I voted for a 1% – a mere 1% – budget cut, just months ago. It failed. A majority of Republicans even voted against it. Worse, the majority of the members in Congress love spending your money. I don’t. I want lower taxes and I want you to keep more of your own money. I fought the hundreds of billions wasted in Ukraine. I fought for lower spending in wasteful military budgets, the Department of Interior, and so many others. There are about 40 of us that truly want to reduce the debt and the deficit. The rest are drunk on spending your money.
James B. from Surprise offers yuletide joy:
Thank you for the job you are doing, it’s very much appreciated by this constituent. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
Rest up over the break and be ready for the BIG battles coming in 2024. And continue to stand tall for the American people.
Freedom of Speech, to bear Arms, pray as I desire, are key to our survival as a nation. America has to stay independent of the world order.
James—thank you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I am ready, willing and able for the big battles coming up. There are material battles facing us and spiritual battles. I will use my faith in God for both.
That’s it for now. Look for my end-of-the-year wrap-up coming soon.
