Welcome to the weekend! On this day in 1773, American colonists threw one of the most famous parties in history: The Boston Tea Party. In response to the British Tea Act, the Sons of Liberty snuck aboard British ships and threw 342 chests of British East India Company tea into the harbor.

A federal judge has ordered Rudy Giuliani to pay two Georgia election workers over $148 million in damages.
Giuliani served as the top campaign lawyer for Donald Trump during the 2020 election, and he admitted to making false statements about Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Moss—accusing them of election fraud.
As a result, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell made a default judgment against Giuliani, and the purpose of this week’s proceedings in Washington, D.C. was to determine how much the former mayor of New York City would owe.
After the ruling, Giuliani called the amount owed “absurd” and vowed to appeal.
Homeless Numbers Surge
The total of homeless people in America shot up by 12% since last year, according to a report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
An estimated 653,000 people were homeless on a single night in 2023—the largest number recorded since the department began gathering data in 2007.
Four states account for more than 50% of the homeless population in America: California, New York, Florida, and Washington.

What’s worse…
You might be using a fiber supplement that contains the wrong type of fiber – causing blockages in your intestines and worsening constipation.

Getting a healthy dose of daily fiber lowers your risk of deadly colon conditions by keeping things moving in your digestive tract.
And the prebiotics in some types of fiber feed the good bacteria in your gut, which have been shown to boost your immune system and mental health.
Have you heard about what fruit experts are now calling the new “super-fiber”?
