Dear Fellow Conservative,
Did you know that most Americans actually agree that school choice is the right path forward for the American education system?
In fact, our own research has shown that a majority of parents, prefer schools that don’t teach “the expansion of gender ideology, race essentialism, and other woke ideologies to K–12 students.”
The right of parents to choose where and how their children are taught is not a partisan issue. It’s simply common sense.
I’m sure you’ll agree that no two children are the same—they have different interests, strengths, and needs—and they each develop at their own pace.
And it is parents (not state-appointed bureaucrats) who know what kind of education is best for their own children. Common sense, right?
It is well past time for lawmakers to empower parents to raise their children how they best see fit.
And this is why Heritage is working with state-based policy organizations and state legislatures to prohibit the application of critical race theory, enact school choice legislation, expand education savings accounts, and enact comprehensive parental rights bills.
While at the same time providing the resources to equip parents, educators, lawmakers, and activists to reclaim education for future generations.
But to continue this fight for the rights of American families, today we need your help:
