#1: A wool or synthetic baselayer, like the NRS Silkweight collection, will wick sweat off your skin and keep you dry. This layer does not need to be skin tight–in fact, a little extra room means more warm air space to help insulate your core!
#2: An insulating layer, like the IR Thick Skin collection, will add the much-needed warmth with minimal bulk. Materials like fleece, wool, and neoprene will keep you warm even if they get wet!
#3: A windblocking and/or waterproof layer, like the NRS Gore-Tex Pro collection, will keep the breeze and splashes out, of course. This layer is the most important for keeping you dry, but adds minimal insulation.
