  • Arlington NAMI Family Support Group for Parents of Youth is resuming on Sunday, September 10th from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM. This group meets virtually on Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. For more information and registration, click here..
  • NAMIWalks Northern Virginia 2023 will take place on Saturday, September 23rd from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The festivities will take place at Merten Hall Lawn on the George Mason University, Fairfax Campus. For more information and registration, click here.

Suicide Prevention Month and Self Improvement Month

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and Self Improvement Month. We use this month to spread hope and vital information to those impacted by suicide, as well as reflecting the accomplishments achieved this year.

Peer Program Leader Team!

We are looking for volunteers through all of Northern Virginia region, including Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax County, and Loudoun County. Training and materials are provided at no cost to endorsed applicant!

Do you have a mental health story to share to help break down stigma and to educate and enlighten others? Join our NAMI In Our Own Voice presenter team.

Do you enjoy connecting with other peers in recovery, and want to help facilitate a group meeting to provide support and resources ? Join our NAMI Connection Support Group facilitator team.

Do you have passion to help educate peers in a class setting to support their recovery journey with activities and discussions? Join our NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class facilitator team.

Are you a Mental Health Professional with a personal mental health experience willing to share your story and educate local healthcare providers? Join the NAMI Provider team.
