In honor of those who were lost, volunteers will gather at CG Mountain for a 9/11 National Day of Service. A band of volunteers are expected to turn out to work on cleanup, beautification and path and trail maintenance, accompanied by a team of high school footballers heading up the slopes to paint the city’s CG logo.
In Maricopa, the popular restaurant Roots Eatery will soon have a new place for residents to eat on days when the restaurant is typically closed. A new food truck, operated by Roots Eatery owner Chris Spear, will have a soft opening tonight at 5 p.m. and will act as an extension of the restaurant. Click here for more details.
