Biden Goes After Ceiling Fans

We know Joe Biden wants to eliminate gas stoves and hates gas hot water tanks.  It seems Biden’s war on home appliances knows no end.  Which reminds me: have you checked out my Mineral Monday’s lately?  Here’s a recent one discussing Joe Biden’s gas problem.

Now Joe Biden’s latest crackdown is ceiling fans!  Think I’m making this up?  I’m not!  A new rule being proposed by Biden’s Department of Energy would require ceiling fans be more efficient!  My republican colleagues on the House Committee on Small Business note that the new rule will put 30 percent of small business ceiling fan manufacturers out of business, causing layoffs not to mention supply shortages and higher-priced fans.  Everyone living in Arizona knows how hot it gets.  Relying on a ceiling fan is not a luxury, it’s a necessity and Biden’s latest green agenda is sheer lunacy.

Service Academy Nominations

As your Representative in Congress, I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five military service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.

Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies:

• U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY
• U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD,
• U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO
• U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY

The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New London, CT, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.

Prosecute HRC?  The Verdict is IN!

I recently sent a special newsletter detailing some of the times Hillary Clinton and her Marxist friends said that the 2016 election was fraudulent and President Trump was not legitimately elected.  I then sent a survey asking faithful Gosar Newsletter readers whether Hillary should be prosecuted for falsely claiming that Russians were working for Trump and somehow “stole” the election. 

The verdict is in!  The people have voted.  Nearly  1,400 of you voted and 75% think Hillary Clinton should be criminally charged and prosecuted for her crimes.  Now that President Trump has been held to a criminal standard for challenging the 2020 election, it is time Hillary faces the same “justice.”

About 15% of you said no, she should not be indicted, because she had a first amendment right to say anything she wants.

We tend to agree with the latter, except that is no longer the law in this country.  Now, if you challenge an election it is a crime, so fair play requires a lot of democrats to be charged, not just Hillary Clinton, but Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, Nancy Pelosi, Stacy Abrams, and dozens of other criminal election deniers.  

There Will Be No Cuts to Social Security On My Watch

Headlines like this are disturbing.  Saying that Social Security will cut benefits by $17,400 is alarming.  Social Security is a sacred trust and as long as I am in Congress, there will be no cuts.  Indeed, I am working to increase benefits.  

Remember, our country is sending hundreds of billions to Ukraine to fund war and death.   We send hundreds of billions to other countries across the globe.   There is  no reason we should be doing this.  All of this money should be in the Social Security Trust Fund and used to strengthen this key program.  It is one of the most important programs in the United States, providing a safety net for millions of Americans.

I have repeatedly fought to increase Social Security benefits. For example, I introduced the No Tax on Social Security Act, which would exclude Social Security benefits from being counted as annual gross income, thus exempting it from federal income taxation. 

I also support legislation that would eliminate any penalties for seniors who choose to continue to work.

I have proposed legislation to eliminate the Optional Practice Training Program, which allows foreigners to work in America and claim Social Security without having to pay into it.

And I co-sponsored legislation repealing the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) which have unfairly penalized thousands of Arizonans who worked tirelessly their entire lives.

The bottom line is this:  I have been, and will continue, to fight for more and better Social Security benefits for my constituents. 

I want you to keep the benefits you have earned. 

Pro-Life Protestors Go to Jail—BLM rioters Get millions

In another miscarriage of justice, this week, five pro-life protestors were convicted criminally of violating the FACE Act.  The FACE Act, 18 U.S. Code § 248, prohibits anyone from “intimidating” or blocking or assaulting anyone who is seeking an abortion in front of an abortion clinic.  As reported:

“Five pro-life advocates who entered a Washington, D.C., abortion facility as part of a “rescue” in October 2020 were convicted of felony charges Tuesday afternoon, a ruling that at least one activist plans to appeal.  All five defendants, including 28-year-old Director of Activism for the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) Lauren Handy, were convicted of felony conspiracy against rights and felony violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Each person could face up to 11 years in prison and a fine up to $350,000.  The FACE Act was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1994.”

None of the five protestors were violent.   They chained their body to a door to stop the killing of babies.  They are now looking at years in prison.  One Catholic activist commented that that the conviction means “that in America it is illegal to peacefully and nonviolently protest infanticide.”

Indeed, that would seem to be the case.  I strongly urge no one to protest anywhere near an abortion clinic, especially in Washington, D.C.  These are not safe venues if your views are traditional.   It makes no difference if you are peaceful.  You will go to jail in these instances.  

Simultaneously this week, we learned that the City of Denver (run by leftists) is paying over $4.7 million to Black Lives Matters rioters who violated the city’s curfew in order to loot, burn and commit property crimes.   Philadelphia, New York and other cities have paid millions to rioters as well, each on the basis that the rioters have a first amendment riot to burn, loot, kill and destroy.  They don’t, but such is the state of the courts today.  

The reality is clear once again: conservative protestors will face prison.  In contrast, leftist rioters and criminals will face no prosecution and will get cash from the government because of their hurt feelings.  

The decline of this great nation is all around us.  I will be preparing a bill to repeal the FACE Act.   At least that parts that make non-violent protest a crime.  

The Politicization of Our Courts

 As many of you know, we established a committee in Congress to investigate the weaponization of the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the DOJ and other agencies.   These once respected agencies no longer meet the high standards we all expected and were told about growing up in the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s.  As children and young adults we were told the FBI protected us from bad guys in our country.  The CIA was supposed to protect us from bad guys from abroad.   The Department of Justice was supposed to pursue justice against those who harmed the public.  

All that has changed over the last 30 years, and within the last 10 years, these agencies have essentially declared war on the taxpayers, on the American people, and on America itself.   Everyone remembers Waco, Ruby Ridge and the Bundy Ranch.   These attacks on peaceful Americans by their government were thought to be anomalies, but now appear to be a feature, not a bug.  These agencies are run by corrupt leftists who do not share our core values of Republicanism, the Constitution, fairness and even-handedness.  It was the FBI and the CIA that actively worked with the democrat party and Hillary Clinton to create the Russia Collusion Hoax.  It was the State Department that lied about the Hunter Biden laptop and claimed it was Russian disinformation.  

We know that President Trump and many of his top advisors have been charged with fake “crimes” that are transparently partisan and fabricated.  

We know that the DOJ acted to protect the Bidens, covered up for, and lied about, Hunter Biden’s crimes.  The FBI and DOJ prosecutor deliberately let the tax statute of limitations expire on Hunter Biden to let him off the hook.  Meanwhile, the average American will get thrown in jail if they cheat on their taxes. 

Let’s look at the political persecution of the J6 defendants.  The DOJ is asking the court to imprison one J6 defendant for 33 years.  His name is Enrico Torres, and apparently he was the leader of the Proud Boys.  I know very little about this group other than the leftist media hates them with a passion.  

So what did this guy do to get 33 years in prison?  Surely he must have tried to kill a police officer, right?  Or maybe thrown a Molotov cocktail in the building to burn it down?  At a minimum, he must have grabbed a bull horn and told thousands of people to kill, rampage and burn.  

Actually, he wasn’t even in Washington, D.C. on January 6.  He was banned from being in D.C. because he ripped up a Black Lives Matter flag days earlier.  

So what does the corrupt DOJ claim he did?  They claim he engaged in a conspiracy for sedition and a liberal DC jury convicted him of that.   Keep in mind, when someone is convicted of a “conspiracy” it means they actually did not do anything.  They supposedly thought about doing something.   So they are punished for their thoughts.  I have not seen any evidence of their “thoughts” but presumably the jury was presented with something that showed this guy wanted to burn the building down and remove Joe Biden.  If this evidence exists, it was not made public.   For now we just have to accept that there must be some evidence.

The actual facts established at trial, that are public, were that this guy was not at the J6 protest.  Indeed, he wasn’t even in Washington, D.C.   He was not in contact with anyone on the ground.   He did nothing that day at all.  His lawyer noted that the defendant had no communications with anybody on the ground.   

His lawyer did admit that weeks earlier Torreo helped plan to attend the protest.  Until now, that was not illegal.  

Let’s take the injustice of this case, and the rest of the J6 defendants, many languishing and being tortured in a D.C. prison, and compare their actions to what democrats did on January 6, 2017.  

On January 6, 2017, a group of angry leftists called Democracy Spring (let’s consider them the ying to the Proud Boys yang) broke into the Capitol.  They attempted to stop the certification of the electoral count for President Trump.   They yelled, screamed and caused a disturbance in the House gallery.  They were arrested and removed from the gallery, booked, and paid a $50 dollar fine for the misdemeanor that same day.  

Thousands of J6 defendants are looking at enhanced misdemeanors and felonies for the same conduct in 2021 that the leftists got a mere ticket for in January 2017.  

This is a two tiered system of justice and it is a symptom of a corrupt government.  

What can we do?  Well, as member of Congress I can vote to defund these corrupt agencies.  I can do this, but I doubt I will get enough of my colleagues to join me.  

We can elect a new president, but that assumes the elections are transparent and fair.  At the moment, our election system is so opaque the majority of Americans don’t trust it. 

We can change the laws that are getting abused.  I would vote for legal reforms all day long.  We can impeach corrupt and incompetent federal judges.  There are many.  

Let me end with this:  I don’t know Torreo or any Proud Boy.  Nor do I know any BLM or ACLU activists.  But I will say that all defendants in America, on the left or the right, deserve fair and equal treatment by the prosecutors and the courts.  From the president, to a grandmother who walked into the Capitol with an American flag in her hand, all deserve fair and equal application of the law. 

Sadly, that is not the case right now.   It is clear that corrupt leftists control the DOJ and the courts.   That is the unfortunate truth we have to accept and work to change it.  I know I will, and I hope you help me do this. 

It’s Mail Time!

I receive a lot of mail every month from constitituents.  In fact, I have received more than 38,000 letters through the first eight months of this year!  Here is a small sample I received this week:

We the people will never trust or believe our government until people are held accountable for the corruption in our government, like the D.O.J. and the F.B.I.  There is a two-tiered justice system in our country and now we have leftist A.G.s, corrupt courts and Obama, Hillary Clinton, the Bidens and Pelosi avoiding justice. 

Danny – Precisely.  What the leftist democrats don’t understand, or don’t care about, is that when our institutions are corrupted, and people don’t trust their government, we reach third world status where the people bribe or fight their way through government actions and while elites are immune from government action.  That’s a recipe for violence.  We must turn this trend around and restore the rule of law:   Equal justice for everyone.

The DOJ sent a letter to Jim Jordan telling him the subpoena will not be enforced unless the DOJ LAWYERS are allowed to participate. Obviously so they can keep their stories straight and to stall and run out the clock.

SO we now have federal agencies ignoring the Constitution.   We have federal Judges ignoring the Constitution.  We have a president ignoring the Constitution, we have federal Judges using technicalities to throw out legitimate election fraud cases by claiming lack of standing or improper filing, or lack of jurisdiction and not allowing incriminating evidence to be seen by the world. Any federal employee that is a democrat or leftist believes they have the right to break laws and violate federal policies in order to achieve their personal political goals. Journalists are not journalists, they are leftist propagandists. They use the 1st Amendment as cover and as a weapon.

These same slime bags that hate the Constitution then hide behind it so they stay unaccountable.

It is obvious that democrats feel untouchable and unaccountable and no longer have to hide their agenda to throw out the Constitutional protections and install their totalitarian government system on us. They are 90% there now. Another election or two and we are not a Constitutional Republic as founded.

There is no low democrats will not go to to achieve permanent power over us. No morals, no shame, no conscience.  They have a sociopathic lack of empathy for anyone not them. Meanwhile some Republicans still think they can fight them using moral arguments and traditional means. Traditional means are now corrupted..the DOJ and FBI are partisan and refuse to enforce laws against democrats and illegal aliens. Democrats do not care about right or wrong, only about winning and keeping power.

The question is, “What are Republicans in Congress and around the country willing to do to win this fight?” The leftist corrupted federal agencies have been building up their agency police forces for years. Why does every federal department have armed police/security forces? Do IRS accountants need to have weapons training?? This is a federal police force being built. Hitler, Stalin and Mao would applaud this stuff.

Holy heck Terry.   You’ve said a lot and you said it quite well.  We did a fact check on your letter and here is what we found:  100% true!

I will address the Republicans and our need to fight.  I am still working with some very nice colleagues on our side who are ignorant about the Alinsky rules being used. They act like it’s 1986 and the democrats shared a goal for a prosperous America.  The reality is the far left has taken over our agencies, our schools and universities, Hollywood and entertainment, our health care, our military, corporate boards and our military.   I need my Republican colleagues to get in the game.  Many just watch the decline and continue to vote for bloated budgets, a new endless war in Ukraine cheering on death, or scratch their head wondering how eight million illegal aliens waltzed across the border in 2.5 years, to join the 40 million already here. I will keep the pressure on.   I hope you do to.
