Barrell Craft Spirits has pushed the boundaries of bourbon for the last decade. This new cask series is no exception. Barrell has always been masterful when it comes to blending. For this release they started with two different mash bills and barrel char levels. They also layered in unfinished bourbon to add depth and tone down the potent Amburana profile. Our BCS blending team embarked on a journey of innovation, skillfully uniting two distinct mashbills, each with a different char level, and gracefully maturing them in Amburana casks. To infuse depth, opulence, and intricate layers, a selection of individual casks without Amburana finishing was meticulously incorporated, enhancing the bourbon’s essence while remaining the star of the show.

The tasting experience is a revelation of intense baking spice nuances, with cinnamon reigning supreme, enveloping every corner of the palate. Beneath this tapestry, aromas of chocolate, toasted walnut, and warm sourdough intertwine, evoking a sensory journey that’s both enchanting and inviting.
