And there was some good news for Florence property owners this week as the town was informed that its primary property tax rate will drop more than previously anticipatedfollowing a correction made by Pinal County. Town staff had previously forecasted the rate would only decrease by about two cents. But the lower rate doesn’t necessarily guarantee a lower tax bill, town officials said.
