The D-backs are celebrating 25 years of baseball August 11-13 at Chase Field with fun festivities, a giveaway and community activity. The team will also wear their 2001 Vest Throwback uniforms for the 3-game series.
Nearly 60 D-backs alumni players are planning to return for this weekend-long celebration. Greg Schulte, who announced he will retire at the end of this season after 26 years with the team, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The first 15,000 fans in attendance on Saturday, August 12, will receive the Throwback Replica Jersey, courtesy of Casino Arizona.
