Dear Rj,
After the Arizona Legislature finally adjourned sine die on Monday following the longest legislative session in state history, we’re excited to announce that our 2023 Progress Scorecard will be launching soon!
This session, extremist lawmakers have launched attacks on our voting rights, public education, the LGBTQ+ community, abortion access, and more. Many of these attacks have been vetoed, but we must hold legislators accountable for how they voted on the bills that impact us.
Our Progress Scorecard is designed to be used as a tool to allow constituents across the state to see how their legislators voted on key issues affecting Arizonans. During a crucial time in our state, it is important to know if lawmakers prioritized the livelihoods of their constituents and fought to protect the rights of every Arizonan.
The scorecard grades lawmakers based on their voting records in priority areas such as mass incarceration, education, climate justice, gun control, housing, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive justice, and voting rights bills.
The 2023 Progress Scorecard is launching soon – stay tuned!
In Solidarity,
Casey with Progress Arizona
