The D-backs have 3 National League All-Stars with starting outfielder Corbin Carroll, right-handed pitcher Zac Gallen and outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

This is the fourth time the D-backs have had a trio of All-Stars and seventh time with 3-or-more All-Stars:
1999 – 4: Jay Bell, Luis Gonzalez, Randy Johnson, Matt Williams
2001 – 3: Luis Gonzalez, Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling
2002 – 6: Luis Gonzalez, Randy Johnson, Byung-Hyun Kim, Damian Miller, Junior Spivey, Curt Schilling

Corbin Carroll at 22 years old is the youngest player on the All-Star rosters, is the lone rookie on the NL All-Star Team and is 1 of only 2 rookies on the All-Star rosters along with Rangers 3B Josh Jung with both going as fan-elected starters.

ZAC GALLEN ALL-STAR SELECTION NOTES:

  • First career All-Star selection.

  • Selected as the NL Player of the Week for April 10-16 after going 2-0 in 13.2 scoreless innings with 5 hits allowed, 1 walk and 18 strikeouts.
  • Tallied the D-backs fourth-longest scoreless streak (28.0 IP) in franchise history from (April 4[final inning] – April 26)… established the D-backs’ all-time record for consecutive scoreless innings (44.1) from Aug. 8-Sept. 11, 2022.
