This week, Joe Biden’s Department of Justice indicted President Donald Trump. Once again, we are watching the ruling party weaponize our legal system to eliminate its political enemies. This is the very same Department of Justice thatlet Hillary Clinton off the hook for her reckless handling of highly classified government secrets on a server in her basement and the resulting cover-up or that Joe Biden is unlikely to pay a price for his own mishandling of classified documents stashed in his garage next to his Corvette for years. Let’s also not forget the nearly five years that have passed since the FBI has had Hunter Biden’s laptop detailing a web of bribes involving Joe Biden and foreign governments and companies (more on that below). We have now firmly settled into third-world political status. Across the globe, for decades, leaders of poorly run and corrupt nations would seek to imprison their political opposition. Mao, Stalin, Mussolini, Pol Pot and Castro quickly come to mind. This used to be considered a human rights violation in America. Now, we have sunk to that level of corruption.
Gosar’s House Oversight Committee Investigates Corruption, Ukraine Bribes Directly to Biden—Whistleblower Fears Government Will Now Kill Him
As a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, I am involved with investigating corruption and malfeasance within the federal government. Several weeks ago, my committee subpoenaed a key document from the FBI that contained a verified report that Joe Biden, while serving as Vice-President, received up to $5 million in bribes from the Ukraine government.
After issuing the subpoena, FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to produce this information. Mind you, this document is not classified. It should be released and publicly examined. The document, an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, details an arrangement involving a monetary bribe in exchange for policy decisions. Our committee gave the FBI until May 30 to hand over the information and come clean.
My colleague, and chair of the committee, Representative Comer, stated that the “FBI’s refusal to provide this single document is obstructionist. Whistleblower disclosures that Joe Biden may have been involved in a criminal bribery scheme as Vice President track closely with what we are seeing in our investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling schemes. Congress and the American people need to know what, if anything, the FBI did to verify the allegations contained within this record. If Director Wray refuses to hand over this unclassified record, the Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.”
The FBI appears to be covering up for the Biden family and its criminal operations. Accordingly, since the FBI refused to comply with the Congressional Subpoena, a contempt of Congress proceeding has been initiated. It is my job, serving on the Committee, to root out fraud and corruption in our government. We will not allow the FBI to cover up potential corruption and bribery of Biden by a corrupt nation: Ukraine.
The Committee has explained that the unclassified FBI record alleging then-Vice President Joe Biden engaged in a $5 million bribery scheme with Ukraine, will be made public and we will investigate this, unlike the FBI. As set forth on June 5, 2023 by my Committee: “Today, FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified, FBI-generated record has not been disproven and stated several times the information contained within it is currently being used in an ongoing investigation. The confidential human source who provided information about then-Vice President Biden being involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly credible informant who has been used by the FBI for years. These are facts and no amount of spin, and frankly lies, from the White House or Congressional Democrats can change this information. At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee and we will now initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. Given the severity and complexity of the allegations contained within this record, Congress must investigate further. Americans have lost trust in the FBI’s ability to enforce the law impartially and demand answers, transparency, and accountability. The Oversight Committee must follow the facts for the American people and ensure the federal government is held accountable.”
Update: After reviewing the non-classified document, but not getting a copy, Representatives Comer, Luna and Greene stated that the FBI informant is fearful that either the FBI or the Biden Administration will have him killed if his identity is released. Of course, the only person threatening to publicly release his name is the FBI and the Biden administration in a clear effort to intimidate this whistleblower. As reported by Representative Luna, “I Just left meeting for House Oversight. The FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family.”
Let’s just evaluate the FBI’s statement to my colleagues: The FBI says its informant will or could be killed. Who would benefit from this man’s death? The Bidens.
The corruption of the Biden regime is broad and deep. There is likely much more to this.
As Rep. Comer explained, “Comer told reporters the accusations contained in the form ‘suggests a pattern of bribery’ consistent with findings the committee has put out publicly. It’s called ‘money laundering,’ he said, saying it fits within the pattern of over $1 million in Romanian-linked payments to the Biden family revealed last month. In early May, Republicans released a report digging in on over $10 million received by Biden family members from foreign actors, including previously undisclosed $1 million in Romanian-linked payments, and a ‘web’ of 20 companies created while President Joe Biden was vice president and pushing anti-corruption efforts abroad.”
Don’t forget about the millions paid to Hunter Biden by the Ukraine oil company.
Ever wonder why the United States is heavily involved in a war in Europe defending the corrupt Nazi Ukraine regime? I can see a couple million reasons in the Biden family bank accounts.
I won’t stop until you get to read it for yourself. The fact that the FBI hid this for so long to protect the Biden crime family warrants defunding of that corrupt agency.
Breaking update: At the end of the week, the Committee decided to postpone the contempt proceedings against the FBI since they let us look at the document.
The Truth About the Kakhovka Dam in Crimea: Another Ukrainian Attack on Infrastructure Followed by More Propaganda
This week, a major dam in Crimea was blown up, causing death and massive flooding. Leftists and neo-cons immediately went on cable news and blamed Russia for … wait for it… blowing up their own dam that provided electricity, cooling water for the world’s largest nuclear plant, plus irrigation water and drinking water for the entire Crimean Peninsula, all of which is under Russian control. In short, this is a transparently ridiculous lie.
Why does this sound so familiar? This is exactly what Ukraine, and the corrupt Biden regime said, after the United States blew up the Russian gas pipelines. They literally claimed Russia blew up its own important assets. And unfortunately, the mainstream media is so gullible and silly, they repeat this obviously farcical propaganda. Indeed, Joe Biden had said, in February 2022, not long before blowing up the Russian pipelines, that he would blow up the pipelines:
“If Russia invades — that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine again — then there will no longer be a Nord Stream 2,” Biden said at a press conference with Scholz. “We will bring an end to it,” Biden continued. Thus, Biden admitted planning the destruction of an infrastructure asset of another country we are not at war with. This itself is an act of war, something Biden cannot engage in without Congressional approval. In response, Russia now has every right under international law to bomb our pipelines and infrastructure. Biden is risking World War 3 with his malicious meddling and unconstitutional actions.
In November 2022, the United States and Ukraine also lied about the artillery shelling of a nuclear power plant under Russian control. At that time, they said “Ukraine’s state nuclear power operator said Russian forces were behind the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia plant.” Keep in mind, “Russian forces” were in the power plant and were in control of the immediate premises. One would have to be a moron to conclude that a military would bomb its own military and infrastructure on purpose. But that is what they are saying now, and last year.
The current claim, that Russia bombed its own dam, is as much of a lie as the other previous two major lies. There is only one entity that benefits from the bombing of the dam, the nuclear power plant and the pipelines: Ukraine.
Why the lie? These obvious lies are necessary to demonize the Russians, divert blame from Ukraine, and according to the Leftists screaming on line, bombing the dam and the power plant are war crimes, so to divert the potential responsibility for war crimes.
In addition to the ridiculous notion that Russia bombs its own strategic assets, it was already reported earlier this year by the Washington Post that Ukraine practiced and planned to blow up this very dam:
The use of HIMARS means the United States coordinated this attack, according to the prior story by the Washington Post. In a story last year in the Washington Post, the United States confirmed that our troops, along with NATO troops, coordinate long range (including HIMARS) artillery strikes for the Ukraine military. “A third Ukrainian official confirmed that targeting all goes through an American installation on NATO soil and described the process as “very fast.” The Ukrainians already planned on destroying the dam and causing flooding to hinder Russia from crossing the river. It’s also not the first time our country has shamefully targeted infrastructure, which again, according to the leftists, is a war crime. As noted by the New York Times:
Let me say again: Peace is long overdue. Hundreds of thousands of young Ukrainian lives have been ended. Tens of thousands of Russian lives have been ended. Cities have been destroyed. Millions of people have been displaced. All of this carnage is being done with the United States providing the war materials, the moral support, and literally cheerleading this death and destruction. It is disgusting and immoral. We have no reason to be involved in this war, and we should not be spending our tax money ($200 billion and counting) on promoting this death and destruction. I call for a cease-fire, and a freezing of the lines where they are, so the parties can negotiate peace. Ukraine started this war in 2014 by the constant attacks on Russians, ultimately causing 14,000 deaths in eight years. Read this and this to learn what Ukraine is really about. The war needs to end, and it needs our help to end, not our encouragement for more death.
Some Notable Co-Sponsorships
Not every bill or resolution in Congress is as important as the debt ceiling vote. Sometimes Congress is called upon to address community issues, commemorations, and acknowledgements. For example, I have joined in supporting a Congressional Medal for the sailors of the U.S.S. Indianapolis. If you are not familiar with the sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis, take a moment to read about it. It will leave a mark on you. I supported congressional recognition of Anwar Sadat, the former Egyptian President who was assassinated by his own bodyguards after he reached a peace agreement with Israel.
That brings me to my current support of H.R. 987, a bill to acknowledge former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir. Originally born in Ukraine, Ms. Meir immigrated to the United States at a young age and attended school here. She then immigrated to Israel and got involved in community and leadership activities, ultimately becoming Prime Minister. She worked closely with President Nixon and others to strengthen the partnership between the United States and Israel. For her work, I am pleased to support Congressional recognition of her life. Another Congressional recognition I am pleased to support is H.R. 537, the Forgotten Heroes of the Holocaust, which acknowledges diplomats who worked tirelessly to process passports and visas to help Jewish families leave Europe during the Holocaust.
You can see that while we focus on the budget and appropriations, there are many other matters that cross my desk that I review and participate on as part of my responsibilities as your representative.
Filming Porn Movies at School? Katie Hobbs Loves the Idea
I have to keep an eye on what is going on in Arizona even when I am in Washington, D.C. While the Republican lead Legislature in Arizona has been passing solid legislation, Katie Hobbs has been busy vetoing most of them. This week, her latest genius move was to veto SB 1696, a bill that would have made it illegal to film pornographic movies at public schools. Sounds like a no brainer, right? Especially since that exact thing happened a couple times. But not to porn-loving Katie Hobbs. Her love of porn lead her to veto this commonsense bill. No wonder she has a difficult time maintaining loyal staff.
It’s Mail Time!
I receive thousands of letters every month and I appreciate hearing from everyone. At the near mid-point in the year, I have received well over 30,000 letters! I try my best to respond to each letter I receive. Here’s a small sample of the letters I received just this week:
George C. from Kingman writes:
Thank you for your “no” vote on HR 3746, a bill to suspend the debt limit (among other things). The purpose of the limit is to keep spending under control, something this bill did not accomplish. Please continue the good work.
Thank you, George. You are 100% correct.
Michael A. from Kingman enjoys reading my weekly newsletter:
Thanks once again for your update and information you provide. I always read your newsletters in totality. Some of the information regarding the Democrats is really scary. I can’t believe people actually vote for them (do they really? Hmmm)Thanks again for informative information and your voting record. You will have my vote. Keep it up.
Michael, many thanks. If we had better and fair journalists, we could send a newsletter with pictures of the Capitol. Instead, we have to send you what’s really going on. And I too am stunned by how many people complain about crime and inflation but continue to support the democrats who fostered these hazards.
Robin L. from Scottsdale also appreciates receiving my newsletter:
Congressman Gosar, just a note to tell you I receive your newsletters via email every week and want to thank you profusely for your honesty and integrity. We as Americans, desperately need more like you in politics to stand up to the corruption that is our leadership in Washington. What a nest of vipers! I am reminded constantly of the piece from scripture that says” for what does profit a man to gain the whole world, and in that loseth his soul?” These people have lost their souls, and we the people are the pawns in their evil chess game. Thank you and fight on my friend!
Thank you, Robin. The soul of our county is at stake. The Left makes it a point to destroy our families, marriages, schools and communities, all to destroy our souls. Stay strong with God and prayer. These are strange times, but we will persevere. We cannot give up our historic nation.
Susan R. from Chandler shares this interesting idea:
I just moved back to Texas after 24 years in Arizona. I couldn’t stand to see that beautiful Stare turn blue. Please run for President. I think you are one of the few who could turn Socialist America back to its former self before it’s too late.
Susan! Thank you for your faith in me. As for the presidency, the Gosar White House has a nice ring to it.
Norman D. from Litchfield Park would likely disagree with sweet Susan R. from Chandler and hates:
Mr. Gosar, you are a traitor to the Constitution and your oath of office. I live for the day that you, Trump, and the rest of the traitors are behind bars where you all belong. No, I’m not interested in your newsletter, which I expect will be filled with lies and debunked conspiracy theories.
Poor Norman. My oath is to the Constitution, and I honor it daily. Calling me and President Trump names and seething about how you want us jailed is very totalitarian of you. I think you would have fit right in, in the old Soviet Union, comrade.
