“The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania In Pictures” colorful souvenir book captures the excitement of our world-class collection of historic trains and what’s in store when you explore the Museum. This handsome, 6” x 6” hardback volume contains 88 photos over 96 pages.

The limited edition, HO scale custom-designed boxcar from Lionel commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. It features the 1983 Grif Teller painting of the John Bull locomotive commissioned by the Friends, a 2023 photo of the John Bulland the first logo of the Friends, a stylized version of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania’s historic Broad Street Station clock. The boxcar comes ready to run with metal wheels, metal couplers, opening doors and added weights. It also makes a handsome display item for a home or office.
Many Whistle Stop Shop items carry symbols of historic railroads and famous trains, some right here in the Museum’s world-class collection. ● Honor a railroader, past or present, with a commemorative plaque in Railroaders’ Hall. Plaques attractively display the name, occupation, service record and affiliation of a railroad employee from any/all railroads. Railroaders’ Hall plaques occupy a prominent location on the east end of the Museum’s Rolling Stock Hall.

● Give a membership in the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania for year-round enjoyment and support of this amazing railroad history museum. Membership includes benefits like free admission, the Milepost membership magazine, discountsin the Whistle Stop Shop museum store and on MuseumRambles and more.

● Choose an all-time favorite locomotive or railroad car in the Museum’s Adopt-A-Train program. Adopters receive a thank you/adoption certificate, a three-to-five minute, customized video of the adopted train, a color photo of the train and a sign acknowledging the adoption placed on or next to the adopted train.

● Make a tax deductible donation or take out asponsorship in the name of your dad or grad. Treat them to an upcoming Ramble or a Museum special event.
