Graduates, golf, new applicants, and more

A look behind the scenes at all you help make possible for Marine families.
Peter,

Spring is a busy and important time at the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation! We’re excited about all this season brings, from the 3,000 plus applications we received from all 50 states to the various fundraising events that support future Marine Scholars. We’re also looking forward to announcing our 2023-24 scholarship numbers and welcoming our newest class of recipients raised on the Marine Corps values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

While we are excited to welcome new faces, we are also honored to celebrate our Marine Scholars who are graduating this year! Whether completing college or technical school, these students have worked hard in their post-secondary education, which was made possible because of supporters like you. Thank you!
To hear about the impact that our scholarships are making and learn more about these incredible students, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
We love hearing from our Marine Scholars and are grateful to those who share their stories, including Ashley, who spoke at the Sarasota Golf Tournament, sharing how much the support from the Scholarship Foundation has made a positive impact in her life.
We also heard from alumnus Stephen at the 29th Tampa Bay Golf Tournament as he spoke about how his scholarship set him on the path to becoming a Marine officer. At the 48th South Florida Golf Tournament alumnus James told us about the impact that receiving scholarship support made on his education and career as a Foreign Service Officer.

At the Hoag Classic we celebrated Military Appreciation Day with so many wonderful people, including Bernie Willet, former Director and friend of the Scholarship Foundation.

We were excited to welcome special guests Lieutenant Colonel Rob Riggle USMC (Ret.) and Joe Driscoll as our dinner emcees for the The Wild Open: Patriots at Pebble Golf Tournament. It was an honor to join our supporters, Marine families, and Medal of Honor recipients Colonel Barney Barnum USMC (Ret.) and Lieutenant Colonel William Swenson USA for an incredible weekend honoring Marines!
Our Annual New York Leatherneck Ball is the original and premier event supporting the Scholarship Foundation. We extend a sincere thank you to all who joined us earlier this month. It was an honor to present Mr. Edwin Goodman, Investment Partner, Activate Venture Partners, with the Semper Fidelis Award for his commitment to Marine families.

As always, we are so encouraged by what we accomplish by working together. Thank you for helping us honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Semper Fidelis,

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

P.S. May is Military Appreciation Month and the best way to honor those who serve our country is by supporting the education of their children. You can show your appreciation with your gift today.
