 peter, Happy Mother’s Day. I wanted to express my gratitude to all the incredible mothers out there and talk a little about how important my mother is to me. By instilling in me the importance of education and perseverance, my mother made me who I am today. I would not be sitting here as Ohio 11th’s Congresswoman without her, and I am eternally indebted to her for the example she set for me.  As we celebrate all the amazing mothers out there today, I want you to join me in reflecting on the immeasurable impact mothers have made in your life. Through their unwavering love and support, mothers make up the backbone of America and keep this country moving forward.
