Other Peer Programs We Offer at NAMI Northern Virginia

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we wanted to take the chance to highlight the Peer Programs we offer at NAMI Northern Virginia.

NAMI In Our Own Voice (IOOV) changes attitudes, assumptions, and ideas about people with mental Health conditions. These free presentations provide a personal perspective of mental health conditions.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is an 8-week educational program for adults living with a mental Health condition. This is a place to learn more about recovery in an accepting enviroment.

NAMI Ending the Scilence (ETS) is for teens, their parents, and teachers and helps audience members learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition.
