After settling one employee lawsuit last week, Pinal County and Supervisor Kevin Cavanaugh settled a new, separate lawsuit this week. In this suit, a former office administrator alleged that Cavanaugh made inappropriate comments about her sex and age. The written settlement agreement says Pinal County “expressly denies all allegations” but has agreed to a full settlement of claims.
Looking to go to a restaurant in Eloy? If so, you could be paying less when you get the bill as the city council moves closer to decreasing its restaurant and bar tax. In a public hearing held Monday, councilmembers, citizens and business owners discussed lowering the tax, with an official vote on the matter expected next week.
