Analisa was alone, scared, and pregnant when we rescued her from an abandoned barn in West Virginia. But she wasn’t out of harm’s way yet.

Our team quickly determined she had a severe upper respiratory infection. Analisa and her babies’ lives were in immediate danger.

We got to Analisa just in time. Because of friends like you, we administered antibiotics and monitored Analisa around-the-clock in the days before she gave birth. And when it was time to have her kittens, she was able to do so safely in a warm bed.

Sadly, one of Analisa’s seven precious kittens didn’t survive. The rest of her litter continues to grow stronger. And because of our dedicated care – and your compassion – Analisa’s kittens have been adopted into loving homes of their own. I hate to think of what would have happened if we didn’t rescue her.
