The opening month of the 2023 season is officially behind us, and while there are still nearly five months remaining before the postseason begins, the first four-plus weeks have provided a number of intriguing storylines.

So we polled two dozen front-office executives with a number of questions to gauge what we’ve learned to this point in the season.

One month may be too early to draw too many conclusions, but these games still all count. So how are the top new additions doing for each team after one month?

Going into each season, we typically have a sense of which teams will have the best lineups and pitching staffs. But there are always some surprises along the way, and this year is no exception.

Andrew Benintendi played the hero by robbing Carlos Correa of a home run in what stood out as last night’s top play.

MLB Pipeline reached out to a scouting director of a team that does not pick in the top 10 and asked for a projected top of the first round.

It’s a new beginning for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, which is planning to build a new 30,000-square-foot facility located at historic 18th & Vine in Kansas City, the location where Negro Leagues baseball was born.
