Dear Friends and Family

I hope and pray that you appreciate how different our work with the animals is.

Way too many sources have a powerful hold on so much of the information that reaches the public about what’s happening in the world of animals and shelters.

Beside treating the animals, often better than many people do, we try to expose the reality and tragedy of the constant killing of healthy, sweet, extremely adoptable animals that are held in shelters for 3 days and then considered disposable.

We also try to talk about responsibility, the cruelty of abandoning old animals —that have lived with the same family all their life—into killing shelters, dropping them off to be euthanized at a Vet Office, or in the woods or on the streets.

Unfortunately, we only make the people in charge of the animals in shelters angry when we shed light on the reality of what is really happening to these poor forsaken animals, the same animals that were once cherished. These animals are the ones who suffer and are killed, as many rescue people and small organizations know all too well.

If we talk, we are not allowed in the shelters anymore even to take photos of the animals who need help to get out! The big Organizations who could really change the laws regulating Shelters put their money into big buildings, paying their CEOs big money and paying for big advertising, collecting money from all the people that believe in their tear pulling messages… and there is a lot to cry for, but we need to work for changes!
