What can I expect during a wellness visit?
- A review of your medical and family history
- Height, weight, blood pressure and other routine measurements
- Recommendation of preventive screenings, care plans or treatment options
- Updating a list of current providers and medications
- Detection of any cognitive impairment
Please note: Annual wellness visits are covered by Medicare. Most health plans cover a set of preventive services per year at no cost to you. If you have already been seen by a provider outside of Banner for these services, they may not be covered. Please call your health plan or Medicare directly to verify your coverage.
