The Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission received a much better idea of what the city’s new municipal court building will look like after completion. The Maricopa City Council approved the creation of the new court building last year, located east of the northeast corner of West Bowlin Road and North White and Parker Road. Next, we head from the courtroom to the theater, as the Vista Grande High School Theater Group is preparing to present “9 to 5 The Musical.” Based on the 1980 hit movie “9 to 5,” the talented cast at Vista Grande are excited to bring this unique stage production to their hometown crowd starting Thursday, April 13 at 7 p.m.
And, outside of the county, former candidate for Arizona Governor Kari Lake and her lawyers are asking the Arizona Supreme Court not to sanction them for their election challenge case because Lake “honestly believes that electoral misconduct and illegal votes determined the outcome of the 2022 gubernatorial election.” Here is the latest from Lake’s court battles. |
