Since introducing the program last November, the Casa Grande Alliance’s “Second Chance” initiative has helped former prison inmates find a fresh start after life behind bars. The program’s goal is to help former inmates integrate back into family life and other social environments.
In crime news, the city of Eloy is working diligently to protect residents from potential fraud. Credit card skimming has become a serious danger and the Eloy Police Department is finding ways to prevent fraudsters from stealing someone’s personal and financial information.
Finally, for those looking to take a trip down memory lane, the classic musical “Rock of Ages” is coming to Pinal County. The musical, presented by the BlackBox Foundation, will be performed at the Pence Center at the Signal Peak campus of Central Arizona College on March 31 and April 1. |
