Earlier this week, the Arizona Diamondbacks agreed with OF Corbin Carroll on an 8-year contract through 2030 (beginning in 2023) with a club option for 2031.
Carroll entered 2023 rated as Major League Baseball’s No. 1 prospect by The Athletic and No. 2 by MLB Pipeline, Baseball America and ESPN.com. He was also cited in Baseball America’s Best Tools edition as the organization’s Best Hitter for Average, Strike-Zone Discipline and Fastest Baserunner.
