A utility terrain vehicle crash in Apache Junction killed a woman and injured three men early Sunday morning. Although an investigation into the crash is still ongoing, police did indicate that intoxication was a factor in the crash.
While most of the unusual winter storm events have exited Pinal County, residents in some southern California mountain towns are still dealing with the after effects of heavy snowfall. In response to the snowfall, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared emergencies in 13 of the state’s 58 counties.
And, in Arizona politics news, former Republican secretary of state candidate Mark Finchem was sanctioned by an Arizona judge over a lawsuit challenging his loss in last year’s election. The judge stated that the suit “was groundless and not brought in good faith.” |
