Good morning RJ,
There will be more options for housing in San Tan Valley as the Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved a 225-unit apartment complex on the southwest corner of Ocotillo and Kenworthy roads. The board also approved a new 20-acre commercial area that will include a daycare center, a charter school, restaurants and a car wash.
Also, at the supervisors’ meeting, the board discussed the county COVID vaccination rate and ways to increase public education on the coronavirus. Dave Coward of Gold Canyon explained that the county vaccination rate has been stuck at around 55% for about seven months and questioned if there could be more done to increase that number.
Finally, up north in Flagstaff, record snowfall has blanketed the city this winter. The Bellemont office of the National Weather Service reported 146.7 inches of snow have fallen in the area since July 2022, which is a new record for the region. |
