Toastmasters is a small club that aims to provide a supportive and positive learning experience to develop communication and leadership skills. On Friday, March 10, the club will open its doors to anyone wanting to know more about the group.
And, in national news, students and faculty at Michigan State University returned to campuson Monday, one week after a gunman shot and killed three students and injured five others. University officials urged teachers to “extend as much grace and flexibility as you are able with individual students, now and in the coming weeks.”
Back in Arizona, Republican Kari Lake lost an appeal of her defeat in the Arizona Governor’s race to Democrat Katie Hobbs, which denied her request to throw out election results in the State’s most populous county. Last week, an Arizona appeals court ruled that Lake presented no evidence to her claims of voter fraud. |
