Good morning RJ,
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a dead body that was found near the Attesa racetrack in Casa Grande yesterday morning. PCSO said that it will not release the identity of the body until next of kin is notified.
At the latest Board of Supervisors meeting, the county will be applying for a $25 million grant in order to continue the construction of State Route 24 eastward. Although the extra funds would help the project’s continuation, Pinal Public Works Deputy Director Joe Ortiz said that the grant would only cover a fraction of the cost, meaning the county will seek state funds and possibly bond funding to pay for the project.
And, in Coolidge, the Coolidge Unified School District approved a bus tracking computer application at their last meeting. The program will allow parents to track a bus’s location and expected time of arrival, giving parents a better idea of when their child will return home from school. |
