A Maricopa family is breathing in a sigh of relief after their elementary school-aged daugter did not appear to have any signficant injuries after being struck by an SUV this morning. And, in Casa Grande, the CG Union Spiritline competed at the AIA Spirit Qualifier and Championships over the weekend. The Cougars walked away placing sixth overall in their division, making it the 11th consecutive year the group placed at the event. The group has also qualified to compete at Nationals in California next month.
Also, on the dance floor, the Coolidge based United Dance Company represented the county well in Honolulu, Hawaii. The team took home second place at the event as well as a one-of-a-kind experience that they will never forget. |
