We’re starting the morning with some reassuring business news for Coolidge; Nikola Corporation announced late last week that it will be closing its recently acquired battery manufacturing facility in Cypress, California to consolidate truck, battery module and pack production and fuel cell module assemblies under one roof at its Coolidge-based manufacturing facility. Here’s a look at what’s driving the change as well as what it might do for employment opportunities in the region.
The J.O. Combs Unified School District was also on the receiving end of some good news this week. The district’s Superintendent, Gregory Wyman, has been named among the recipients of the 2022 All Arizona Superintendent of the Year by the Arizona School Administrators. Wyman was nominated for the honor by his leadership team and teaching staff for his exceptional leadership.
