Less than one month until Refugee Shabbat Countdown to Refugee Shabbat

Dear RJ,

We are less than one month away from the HIAS’ 5th Annual Refugee Shabbat, on February 3-4, 2023.

Hundreds of individuals and communities around the world have already registered and are in the thick of planning events and programs reflecting the Jewish community’s creativity and generosity in responding to today’s unprecedented challenges.

If you have not registered yet – there is still time! Sign up to join the vibrant, growing, global Jewish movement acting in solidarity with refugees, asylum seekers, and the forcibly displaced.

When you register, you’ll receive the official Refugee Shabbat Resource Guide, which includes a text study, program suggestions, sermon starters, a Spotify playlist, and more. We will be sending all registrants a Refugee Shabbat video message from Rachel Levitan, HIAS’ Vice President of International Policy and Relations.

Bo’u netaken et ha’olam b’yachad – let us repair this world together.
