Two New NAMI Family to Family Classes Starting in 2023

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you’ll also find out that you’re not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.

The course is recommended for families of persons who are living with known or suspected mental health disorders with or without co-occurring substance abuse disorders. The class was created by an experienced family member mental health professional and is taught by specially trained and certified teachers who are also experienced family members.

New on the Blog

We launched our Faces of NAMI Northern Virginia series to put a spotlight on some of the amazing individuals who give back through our NAMI support groups, classes, presentations, and more. These volunteers truly are the faces of NAMI Northern Virginia, and we could not be there to provide support and inspire hope without them. This series on the blog will be ongoing, so be sure to check in once in a while to take in the stories of some of Northern Virginia’s greatest leaders.
