As the saga from the 2022 mid-term elections continues to unfold, one of the attorneys for Kari Lake and Mark Finchem is attempting to avoid paying legal fees for the pair’s lawsuits. Maricopa County has requested $141,690 from attorneys but attorney Alan Dershowitz is saying he played a limited role in the lawsuits.

Speaking of Finchem, the January 6 Committee released a number of transcripts from interviews they conducted. Finchem’s deposition is shedding new light on the role he played during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

And locally, Maricopa police are still investigating the circumstances behind an incident involving an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound who was found in his car at a Circle K over New Year’s weekend.
