Noticed a pothole in your street? Spotted a burned-out street lamp? Now, Florence residents have an app for that. The Florence Town Council recently approved a contract with smartphone app developer “SeeClickFix” for a customized app that allows residents to report problems that need to be fixed around town.
Speaking of potholes, Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande may be getting a facelift soon. The city council approved a contract for pavement preservation for the major thoroughfare at its last meeting. The roadwork wasn’t the only item approved by council earlier this week.
And too few veterinarians could soon result in too many cats and dogs. A nationwide shortage of vets is hitting home in Pinal County with local animal welfare organizations sometimes having the funds but not the personnel to spay and neuter animals. |
