RJ,
As geopolitical challenges continue to create uncertainty in global energy markets, we need American energy leadership now more than ever to meet the needs of our own citizens – and the needs of the world. America’s natural gas and oil producers are up to the task. However, they are still being held up by the Biden Administration’s refusal to promote investment in and development of American natural gas and oil.
Policies that open our resources and eliminate barriers to energy infrastructure and allow for oil and natural gas to keep America strong and secure are what we need now. That means boosting production from federal lands and waters. In fact, the Administration just missed a deadline to announce new onshore lease sales, adding another delay to an already prolonged process.
Limiting access to lands and waters could lead to more dependence on foreign countries for our energy needs – some of which may have looser environmental standards for production. Learn more about what President Biden can do to release America’s energy potential – including holding onshore sales or leases that have proven to be highly productive. Together, we can get through this crisis.
