Donald Trump was counting on Ken Paxton’s sham lawsuit to overturn the election

Peter,
It turns out Donald Trump was counting on Ken Paxton and Republican AGs’ lawsuit to help overturn the votes of millions of Americans in 2020.
Yesterday, we heard first-hand testimony during the January 6th Committee hearing that a sham lawsuit filed by Paxton and other Republican AGs was a key part of Trump’s strategy to overturn the 2020 election. The Republican AGs filed the case Texas v. Pennsylvania with the intent to disenfranchise millions of voters in four key states that Joe Biden won. SCOTUS’s refusal to take up the case infuriated Trump – and that reaction is the biggest giveaway with our former President.
Thankfully, the Supreme Court dismissed Texas v. Pennsylvania, but this bombshell testimony showed the whole world just how important state AGs are to the GOP and Trump’s future plans. We’ve got to win as many state AG seats as we can around the country so that we can protect the 2024 presidential election. Chip in $10 today to safeguard our democracy from GOP attacks by electing Democratic state AGs.
