Team Inseparable

Hi Peter,

Welcome to our first Inseparable newsletter!

As a member of Team Inseparable, we want to make sure that you have everything you need to be the stellar advocate we know you are!  Our goal is to make sure you are up to date on legislation both nationally and in the states. We’ll give you a glimpse into important mental health news across the country. There is a lot moving as we work toward bettering mental health, and we can’t do it without you.

Our work to improve mental health care and services across the country will continue, and we’re glad you’re here with us.

Inseparable is thrilled to announce the launch of the State Legislative Mental Health Caucus. So far, 95 legislators from 33 states – 24 Republicans, one Independent, and 69 Democrats – have joined. The new caucus will serve as a space for legislators to work together, share resources, and keep up with the latest legislative trends in mental health.

This movement isn’t about politics; instead, it’s uniting people through their shared commitment to mental health. In a deeply polarized time, mental health has emerged as an important  issue where policymakers are coming together in a bipartisan way. Please read more to learn about our work on the ground. >>

  • This increase can be attributed to the higher demand for access from the pandemic. This crisis has ultimately created a “massive” increase in anxiety and depression globally according to the World Health Organization.
  • A spike of this extent serves as a wake-up call to countries to pay more attention to mental health and provide better access to care.
