Good morning RJ,
For some residents in Pinal County volunteering is a way of protecting their community, and for others it’s a way of showing respect for those who protect their community. Near Florence, a group of residents south of town have come together to form a volunteer fire department. That department just received a grant to purchase two trucks and a bunch of other equipment to help keep their neighbors safe.
Since we’re on the subject of volunteering, in Coolidge, a group of youth teamed up with a local business owner on Sept. 11 to paint, repair and spruce up parks around the city.
Looking for a way to support some of these young volunteers? The Coolidge FFA is holding its annual Homecoming BBQ later this month. This year’s BBQ features some reallllly nice luxury door prizes! 👀 !!! |
