The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is excited to present the 2022 Troy, Ohio PorchFest. It will be an awesome day of music, both at the Hayner and in the Southwest Historic District. An event like this is a great undertaking and we are very thankful to have the support of the City of Troy and the many, many community volunteers that give of their time to make this event possible, and a special thanks to the “Porch Hosts” and the musical performers—we couldn’t have a PorchFest without your participation! Hope to see you all next Saturday at the Hayner!!

The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is excited to present the 2022 Troy, Ohio PorchFest. It will be an awesome day of music, both at the Hayner and in the Southwest Historic District directly across from the Hayner. There will also be several great food trucks and a vendor’s tent village on the Hayner grounds. An event like this is a great undertaking and we are very thankful to have the support of the City of Troy and the many, many community volunteers that give of their time to make this event possible, and a special thanks to the “Porch Hosts” and the musical performers—we couldn’t have a PorchFest without your participation! It takes hundreds of people to make this festival come to life. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center staff of 11 people work throughout the year to make the plans. Troy-Miami County Public Library staff members Bill Schlimme and DeMarcus Moody partner with us to build the Artisan Tent Village. We have over 20 people working together to build community on three different committees. There are five food trucks with their crews to bring us lunch and dinner. There are over a hundred musicians to make the music. Most importantly, there are over 25 businesses and donors within our community that come together to provide funds for our musicians. We hope you will join us in thanking these important sponsors.
So What is PorchFest?
Imagine 40 bands in a variety of styles and genres playing throughout the Southwest Historic district on porches, in side-yards, lots and patios.
Imagine 15+ artisan and food vendors in a tent village at the Hayner. Visit the artists, grab some lunch and plot your concert tour with a walk-able map of the event.
Choose your favorite bands. Tour one concert after the other with about seven concerts starting each hour! –> Be sure to bring some bills to put in your favorite band’s tip jars!
Head back to the Hayner for some dinner and at 6 pm enjoy Dayton Salsa Project on Hayner’s big front porch.
