Despite repeatedly sharing false claims that the 2020 election was marred by vast quantities of voter fraud, it appears Arizona’s Republican candidate for AG Abe Hamadeh himself is previously guilty of voter fraud.
Hamadeh admitted in an online forum to changing his mother’s vote on her mail-in ballot in 2008, when Hamadeh was only 17 and thus ineligible to vote. It’s rich hearing this sort of confession from a candidate who can’t stop talking about false cases of voter fraud.
We have fewer than 70 days to elect pro-democracy AGs in critical swing states like Arizona and shore up our election protection for the 2024 presidential election. State attorneys general are key in making sure that our elections stay free and fair, and we need to make sure we have Democratic AGs in office who respect our system. We can’t afford hypocritical conspiracy theorists like Hamadeh.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
