It turns out that running on a platform of restricting abortion rights and denying people access to healthcare was *checks notes* … a bad idea.
In the aftermath of relentless attempts to restrict access to abortion, we are starting to see a full-throttle response from voters across the country. We are facing critical AG elections in states like Arizona, Michigan, and Nevada, where who the AG is makes a massive difference in protecting abortion access.
Pro-choice Dem AG Dana Nessel in Michigan and pro-choice Arizona AG candidate Kris Mayes have seen a boost in support flooding into their campaign this summer. While this momentum is encouraging for November, we can’t afford to take any of it for granted. The election is less than 80 days away and now is not the time to rest on our laurels.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
