Now that the Pinal County Board of Supervisors has officially approved the results of the Primary Election, they’re moving on to the investigation of how things went wrong. That investigation includes why some municipal elections were left off mail-in ballots and why some polling places ran out of ballots on Election Day.
One result investigators might find is a drop in voter turnout in cities and towns impacted by the first ballot error. We’ve crunched the numbers and you can read the details here.
And the city of Casa Grande is looking at raising its hotel sales tax in order to fund a new marketing organization. The approval of the tax increase and the marketing organization are on tonight’s city council agenda. |
