The Inflation Reduction Act would cut U.S. climate emissions by at least 40 percent over the next eight years and invest billions in renewable energy and environmental justice programs. While the bill is a compromise, and should serve as the starting point for climate action rather than the final word, it does set us on a path to combatting the climate crisis in earnest. We must rally our senators to pass it!

You’ve responded with hundreds of thousands of comments to lawmakers and stuck with it through many twists and turns—including news just a couple of weeks ago that the possibility of a climate bill was completely dead.
