Congratulations to the four Casa Grande Little League teams that made it to the state all-star tournaments. The two softball and two baseball teams had a good run at the tournament before being eliminated from competition. PinalCentral Sports Editor Maria Vasquez has all the stats on the teams’ games.
And speaking of statistics, the Maricopa Police chief gave city council an update on the latest crime numbers. Chief James Hughes told Council that the population growth is outpacing the city’s crime rate, which is a good thing.
