Good morning RJ,
It’s a bird … no that is a plane! Some residents in Casa Grande got a surprise yesterday when the pilot of a small plane had to make an emergency landing near Villago Park. Fortunately, no one was injured in the landing.
And the remaining Eloy and Arizona City residents who have been without power since Monday, can return home and get out of the scorching heat. APS reported Wednesday that it has restored electricity to all customers in the area who had their power knocked out due to a monsoon storm on Sunday. Check out the drone video APS took of the repair process below.
Also, the CG Planning and Zoning Commission is seeking public comment on at least two projects that are requesting major amendments to the city’s general plan because the properties don’t have certificates of assured water supply from the state. The two properties are zoned for the development of single-family homes but lack the water certificates needed to move forward under their current zoning category. |
