| I don’t know about you, but I try to get nice things when I can.
I’d rather have just a few nice tools than every $5 TV infomercial gadget that breaks in 3 weeks.
Partly because… they just work better.
So, when I lend one of my prized BBQ tools out to a friend to try out, only to realize they still have it when I go to use it myself…
… it’s more than frustrating.
And if you ever find yourself in a situation where you have to get by with your old tools, like if you hypothetically loaned your nice tools out, you realize how nice it really is.
That was me this weekend.
I went to fire up the charcoal ceramic grill, only to realize my JJ George grill torch was at my buddy’s house.
No big deal right?
I’ve lit this grill hundreds of times without it.
Turns out, I’ve become a bit spoiled 😂
Because going back to lighting my grill the old school way felt like I got dropped in the stone age.
Just like the song says, you don’t know what you got till it’s gone… even if it’s only for a few days.
So if you’re one of the folks still workin’ way harder than you need to every time you go to fire up your grill, man…
… I can’t recommend you try this out enough.
For less than the cost of a decent bottle of whiskey that won’t last a week month, you’ll have yourself a tool that will save you countless hours and headache for years to come.
(Not to mention you can spend that extra time enjoying a fine whiskey)
