What is pacific flyway supplies anyway?
I was tired of it. Just absolutely sick and tired of this, and finally just threw my gear in the trash…
A little background first though…
Hey there, I’m Tim Anderson, owner, founder, IT director, pretty much everything under the sun here at PFS.
As we’ve never met, you might not know that what I was talking about above was my terrible frustration with finding QUALITY equipment when I started grilling.
You see I didn’t grow up grilling from the time I was knee high to a grasshopper.
(probably some kind of state law that you can’t grill seriously until you’re “Dad Age” anyways)
Predictably, I didn’t even pick it up till well the end of High School.
But when that bug bites you, man… it just doesn’t let go. (My ever expanding pant sizes can attest to this…)
But in my area, there were only 2 types of stores. The first: big box stores with good prices, but employees who didn’t know a Texas brisket from Kansas City ribs, or worse, those who thought they did and steered me down a terrible path.
The second: local stores with great service, but prices that meant you had to either sell a kidney or a first born just to enjoy this amazing food.
I was just sick and tired of it all. So in 2013, I took the leap and founded Pacific Flyway Supplies with 1 mission: to be the store that I wished was around when I was getting into this.
Great prices that can compete with the big online retailers AND someone behind the counter who knows the difference between a weber and a pellet grill.
I don’t carry every brand under the sun and never will. Every single item in the store, whether online or at our physical location is hand selected for the top shelf quality at its price point.
Whether it’s grills, charcoal, rubs, marinades, sauces, or anything in between, know that products are hand selected by someone who USES the products in the field, not someone who just reads FB groups and has a Traeger sticker on their Yeti tumbler…
So let me again just say thanks for stopping by, and Welcome to the Flock!
