Some Coolidge residents are pushing for 24/7 fire service after a fire took the life of a mother of three. It took firefighters nearly 17 minutes to respond to the early morning fire. And in Maricopa, a new 47,200 square-foot flex office building has been approved by the city Planning and Zoning Commission for the Estrella Gin Business Park. The new building will have enough room for 19 businesses. According to one commissioner, the city has been waiting for new construction at the site for 10 to 12 years.
