Good morning RJ,
I hope your Fourth of July was full of fireworks and fun. Speaking of American history, a Casa Grande auction house recently sold a rifle tied to the Battle of Little Bighorn. The gun was sold in an auction by Western Trading Post on June 18. It was initially captured by a member of the Sioux tribe at the historic battle.
Also, Maricopa Police are seeking residents’ help in stopping illegal parties by teens. The police department reported that they have arrested multiple teens in the area who have been using newly built, vacant homes as places to party. Police warn the parties can cause damage to the homes and leave a criminal “stain” on the teens’ records.
And in more crime news, a 32-year-old Casa Grande man has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to pointing a BB gun at a man and a child at a party in early June. |
